What we are looking for:
1960 Lumber & Hardware Corp. is a Lumber & Building materials retail store searching for an individual to add to our front end staff. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic about providing excellent customer service and is interested in developing knowledge in the building materials industry for their own person growth and career.
About the Role:
Our Front end staff will greet and assist our customers with their product selections, pick orders for our sales department for deliveries or in store pick ups, general daily clean up of work area, and aisles, as well as assisting other staff in our specific store departments. Final customer service process will involve receiving payment and processing orders through to completion.
What is required:
- Lumber & building Materials & hardware experience is an asset but not required.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment during the busy construction season.
- Some heavy lifting required
- Self-motivated and able to work under minimal supervision.
- Excellent Verbal and Written Communication Skills.
- The ability to multitask and maintain attention to detail.
- Security and Safety Conscious
- Ability to work Saturdays on a rotation schedule
